Valeria Hernández, la Violenta Josefina del título debuta con una declaración de intenciones en clave luminosa, tomada de ese sitio del que venimos, lugar por siempre estallado en policromía y movimiento. Estamos dentro de una burbuja tapizada por el sonido y las reverberaciones de un paisaje lejano, tal vez un rio o la montaña a la que nos vamos en sueños, en el trayecto la voz no nos guía, nos hipnotiza y solo podemos sentir el peligro de la distorsión al acercarse: tal como la primera vez, el ruido es un animal, rojo en el ecualizador, subiendo, siempre subiendo…


The echo, the echo... as an impossible narration that transforms the soul and feeling of a tune, into a completely different denotation. Under this premise, venezuelan singer-songwriter and bassist Valeria Hernandez, debuts under the pseudonym "Violenta Josefina". On her first single "Ascensor" she calls for a declaration of intentions that feels like a luminous compass, which falls into a place that bursts forever in movement and polychromy. In “Ascensor" we feel inside a bubble, upholstered by the sound and reverberation of a distant landscape, maybe a river or a mountain on a dreamlike vision. On the pathway, Valeria's voice does not lead us, hypnotize us, and let us sense the peril of distortion when approaching: as the first time we hear it and the signal gets closer to the maximum level, the noise is an animal... VU lights peaking, rising, always rising...
